What can I say? My kids are bound to be techie-types. They have two parents who love gadgets and electronics. I’d rather get a camera lens, smartphone or hard drive than pretty much anything else for a birthday or holiday. If we are out somewhere and the mood strikes, my girls will ask, “Mommy, can I play ‘Angry Birds‘?” So I hand over the iPhone and they begin flinging little birds into structures and buildings with their tiny kid fingers.
If you have not tried this game, be forewarned … it is very addictive and deliriously fun. Ask my kids. And if you have a BlackBerry, I’m sorry, you can only play the ‘Hydrox‘ or ripoff version — “Angry Farm“.
I experienced my first six-year-old-nail-painting-pizza-party and I’m mentally exhausted. Five- and six-year-old girls have a LOT to talk about. And screech about. What a handful — a sweet, fun handful, but a handful nonetheless! They were so cute, excited and innocent. Little girls are so much fun to watch and listen to. What could be more fun to a little girl than going to a nail salon, eating pizza and cupcakes and getting adorable, handmade purses (GO Carrie!) stuffed with goodies? Not too much. Happy birthday to a sweet, happy girl. Emma, may you keep your smile, spunk and innocence as you celebrate each year!
Nothing like thoughts of the sunny playground on a rainy Wednesday. Josey has really mastered the monkey bars and is so proud of herself, as she should be. Its a big accomplishment for a little person!
It must be so much fun to have a cousin only a few months older/or younger! Built-in buddies for life. Adeline and Samantha look on as big cousin/sister Josephine plays soccer. The “littles” can’t wait until it’s their turn to get out there!
Between raindrops this weekend, we were able to fit in our annual Easter Egg Hunt with my moms’ group. There are way too many cute kiddies to include, so I just picked some of my favorite shots from the day. It’s pretty hard trying to follow and enjoy the thrill of egg hunting with my girls while trying to take photographs of all the other cuties, but I did my best! Thanks to Shauna, Megan and Camile as always for making our events great!
